Our Process

Voice and Accent Training is much like mountain climbing. Climbing a mountain is a challenging but rewarding process, which requires training, focus and perseverance. It is a journey with significant milestones along the way.

The different stages of climbing correspond to the journey of improving communication skills. The same training, focus, and perseverance are needed. The goal of both is the same - to conquer the summit.

The Summit® will take your employees on a remarkable journey. We will guide them to reach significant milestones of accent neutralization, to communicate effectively, and achieve the results that both you and they are looking for.

Each training module is patterned after the stages of mountain climbing, as follows:

Base Camp

Every module starts at Base Camp. Base Camp sets the targets for the day, and defines the objectives we want to reach.  Base Camp creatively engages the trainees’ attention and demonstrates the need to learn the skills taught in the module. At Base Camp, trainees are given the overall picture of the topic for the day.

The Ascent

The Ascent is where new skills are developed and new challenges are introduced. Trainers use creative methods of input, targeting multiple learning styles, to model the desired skills.

The Alpine Start

An Alpine Start, in mountaineering, occurs when climbers begins their final assault on a mountain peak before the break of dawn, in order to avoid avalanches caused by the sun. In our training, the Alpine Start is the process of checking for understanding, using activities to ensure that trainees understand the concepts being taught.

Conquering the Summit

Once trainees have understood the material, its time for them to put their new skills to the test. Like the climber who pushes to reach the summit, each module provides trainees with an intense, interactive multimedia activity that places them in real-time communication situations. Trainees have immediate opportunities to implement new material from the lessons in practical use.

The Descent

The descent is the most dangerous part of the mountain climbing experience. Our modules end with practical tips and resources that empower trainees to integrate the course material into their daily lives. Each individual’s progress is monitored and recorded by our trainers, to ensure that they are able to advance towards their goals of improved communication skills.
