Job Description:
As part of the Americas IT organization, the incumbent in this position will provide business process and SAP system expertise in the Produce to Plan area. This person will be a primary point of contact for the business and as such must possess excellent client service capabilities. There are various SAP systems in use in the America's region and interaction with any or all can be expected via support or project roles. Hands-on configuration experience in multiple, major SAP implementations, preferably of a global nature, required.
Essential Functions:
Provide excellent day-to-day support to the business in the P2P area.
As a business analyst, be able to work side-by-side with the business to understand their requirements and identify the technical options. Must possess ability to understand varying business requirements and identify the correct technical solution.
As needed, apply technical skills to advance necessary tasks, be they

Adhere to IT processes regarding implementation of functionality

Apply best practice expertise to advance the use of standard SAP as much as possible.
Strive to resolve issues while remaining consistent with the CSBM.

Supervise team members
on a day-to-day basis. Review project and production system support
work as performed by team members to ensure sound technical design,
utilization of solid quality assurance principles, and adherence to
defined standards.
20% Development of Standards
Establish best
practice tools and templates to support rapid development of test
documentation to provide traceability from requirements gathering
through validation, including business process documentation,
configuration rationale, and test plans. Provide guidance to less
experienced quality assurance associates and business analysts on
quality assurance “best practices”.
10% Defect Resolution
Provide support to
business analysts in identification and resolution of defects:
•Troubleshoot problems
and determine solutions
•Implement fixes and
enhancements
QUALIFICATIONS:
Academic/Credentials/Certifications:
•BS degree in Computer
Science
•MS preferred
Length of experience:
•5-8 Years Quality
Assurance and Testing
•Prior experience with
test automation frameworks, either custom-developed or
pre-packaged.
•Minimum 1 year experience
with Mercury's Quick Test Professional
Specialized skills/technical knowledge:
•Knowledge of 21 CFR
Part 11 requirements.
•Experience leading
software quality assurance in complex enterprise deployment
projects.
•Ability to convert functional
designs into test plans, business scenarios, and test scripts.
•Experience with evaluating functional designs
and process flows
•Good problem solving and
analytical skills.
•Functional knowledge of
SAP or other ERP systems.
•Experience in
software lifecycle management methodologies, and configuration
management.
•Experience defining and
implementing quality metrics.
